Trek Overview

Chulu West Peak Climbing is a classic Himalayan mountaineering adventure in the Annapurna region of Nepal, offering a challenging yet highly rewarding experience. Standing at an elevation of 6,419 meters, Chulu West is one of the higher trekking peaks in the Annapurna range and is considered more demanding than Chulu Far East. The journey combines the famous Annapurna Circuit trek with a serious alpine climb through glaciers, snowfields, and high mountain ridges.

The expedition passes through beautiful Gurung and Manangi villages, dense forests, alpine meadows, and dramatic high-altitude landscapes before reaching Chulu West Base Camp. The climb requires good physical fitness and basic mountaineering skills, including the use of crampons, ice axe, and fixed ropes. From the summit, climbers are rewarded with breathtaking views of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu, making Chulu West Peak an excellent choice for climbers seeking a true Himalayan mountaineering experience.
